for i'm an infant
not entirely first born
but i'm making my way
growing each day
soon i'll be walking
all on my own
but in the meantime
i'm still taking in
this beautiful world
i'm choosing to live
it was a difficult life
the one i lived before
but now i feel ready
to truly explore
the wonder within
and the subtleties without
the emotions
the expressions
the manifestations
ready to share
with other inspired souls
to laugh
to cry
to experience life
more real than i've known
to not be afraid
of showing my faults
my feelings
my perspective
being an infant
i'm still cooing
still oohing and ahhing
amazed by the sights
the sounds
the world that surrounds
soon i'll find my way
and really i cant wait.
