Warm air comes in envelopes. Swoons are two for one. Hearts are half price.

Wouldn’t it be nice to test your indescribable scent on my sentimental wrist.

How politely they search your scalp for lice.
How mercilessly they examine your fingernails for defects.

And how quick they were to call my fine-tooth comb a failure.
And to think I thought it was all so altruistic when it was only anomic.

I’ve been pushing myself
temporarily like an empty pram
to the center of the dark in an imaginary park.

My nerves don’t connect.
I’m just forever collecting cobwebs.

Dead as a light bulb.
Dead as a light bulb.

Lovesickness clubs me on the head, the pillow drinks my blood and nobody helps.

I didn’t notice the revolving wolves.
I didn’t notice it was getting cold.

And now a new inscrutable stain appears.
Useless information. Click for care.

I can’t concentrate and I can’t get the stain out.

With a friend like you find in the frozen-food aisle.

Useless information. Don’t come near.
You can’t understand and you can’t get the stain out.

You exploit my weaknesses. You give up too easily.

When the bell rings there will be no witnesses.
